(Moorhead, MN) -- More night construction is coming for a major underpass project in Moorhead.
Ames Construction is planning to complete night-time excavation work on the SE Main|20 St|21 St underpass project August 24th-26th.
This work will be similar to a previous period of nighttime construction that was completed in June 2019. The work will consist of excavation and hauling only.
The truck routes are planned along the previously approved haul routes of 21 St to Highway 10 and SE Main Ave to 12 Ave S to 34 St S to Highway 10. Ames will also plan the work so the trucks are almost always driving forward and will use alternative beepers to minimize the construction noise.
Additional night construction is expected in late October or early November.
