Fargo Woman Seriously Hurt in Motorcycle Crash Identified

(Mapleton, ND) -- A Fargo woman is seriously injured after crashing her motorcycle late Tuesday night two miles east of Mapleton.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol, along with several other agencies responded to the eastbound lanes of 37th street southeast, which is south of I-94 after the woman, now identified as 47-year-old Stephani Rindy, failed to negotiate a curve to the right and ran off the roadway. The motorcycle then overturned and came to a rest in the north ditch on it's side.

Rindy was thrown from the bike and suffered head injuries. She was transported by helicopter to an area hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
