(Grand Forks, ND) -- A pair of sister cities near the North Dakota-Minnesota border are set to try and take care of a nuisance Thursday evening.

Both the cities of Grand Forks and East Grand Forks will be spraying for Mosquitos from around 7 p.m. to midnight. The need for the spraying has been heightened since Grand Forks officials say West Nile Virus has been found in the region.

The North Dakota Department of Health does say you can help deter the pests by using inspect repellent with DEET, limiting outdoor activities between dusk and dawn, wearing long sleeve clothing and getting rid of standing water near your home.
