(Bismarck, ND) -- Wind farms are popping up all over North Dakota.
According to a new report by The American Clean Power Association, North Dakota ranked 2nd in the nation for electricity generated by wind and solar sources. State officials say both sources account for about 10 percent of the state power supply.
All told, North Dakota reportedly generated more than 13 million megawatts in clean energy in 2020, earning it a 9th-place ranking for all 50 states.
