Fargo Library to Host Author Marcie R. Rendon August 1

Regional author Marcie R. Rendon will visit the downtown Main Library at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, for a reading and talk featuring her debut mystery novel, “Murder on the Red River.” A book signing will follow the event; books will be available for purchase. Rendon, an enrolled member of the White Earth Nation, is a playwright, poet and freelance writer. She has published four nonfiction children’s books; two are “Pow Wow Summer” and “Farmer’s Market: Families Working Together.”
