City of Moorhead Halts Logo Development

The City of Moorhead has halted its process towards choosing a new logo for its community.

The halt comes after the city says, through its Facebook page, it received opinions on options for a new logo.

The City of Moorhead has been working on an identity initiative for several months, and had recently asked for citizen feedback on the logo portion of the initiative.

Based on the feedback, the city has decided to place the logo development on hold. The purpose of putting it on hold, the city says, is to re-evaluate and decide the next steps, which will include input from the Moorhead community.

The city says it "appreciates the passion and loyalty to Moorhead."
