At 11:22 a.m. Wednesday morning, Fargo firefighters responded to a report of smoke coming from a detached single stall garage located at 1617 2nd St North.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered smoke coming out of the garage. The first arriving crew entered the garage finding heavy smoke and high heat conditions. The fire was quickly found and extinguished. There were no injuries and fire damage was limited due to early activation of the 9-1-1 system and quick actions taken by the first arriving fire crews.
The fire is cause is still being investigated. No damage assessment is available at this time.
