Adams Man Arrested Following Release

After being arrested last weekend on charges of, among others, terrorizing, an Adams man is back behind bards for violating a judicial order, according to documents filed in the Walsh County District Court in Grafton.

An arrest affidavit for Lynn Daniel Kouba says that, on the early evening of August 17, authorities were dispatched to Adams for a violation of a judicial order. Authorities arrived and spoke to the victim's father outside of the residence. He told authorities that he observed Kouba driving west on Fourth Avenue, but didn't think anything of it because it was not within 100 feet.

The victim's father then stated he observed Kouba drive slowly eastbound in front of the house, located on Third Avenue, turn around at the fire hall and then drive west in front of the house slowly.

While speaking to the victim's father, the responding officer observed Kouba drive by the residence in a maroon Ford F-150. He observed Kouba driving the vehicle east on Third Avenue, in front of the residence, in violation of the judicial order.

Two sheriff's deputies attempted to make contact with Kouba at his residence, which was unsuccessful. The deputies then patrolled around the City of Adams, looking for Kouba. The vehicle was observed driving north on Vesta Street, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

Kouba was then arrested for violation of a judicial order and transported to the Walsh County Correctional Center in Grafton.

He will appear in Walsh County District Court on Monday on the violation of a judicial order charge. The other charges are still pending an initial appearance, also scheduled for Monday.
