On-street parking along Roberts Street temporarily closed

Today, contractors for the Roberts Street Reconstruction Project began placing no on-street parking signs along Roberts Street between 4th Avenue North and 2nd Avenue North. Beginning early in the morning tomorrow, crews will begin the installation of permanent pavement marking along the roadway.

Roberts Street will remain open to pedestrian and motorists in both directions. Work will happen under traffic throughout the day. Once crews have finished the pavement markings, on-street parking will be restored. Drivers are encouraged to slow down and pay attention. 

Motorists are reminder that parking in a no parking zone could result in the car being towed at the owner’s expense.
