ND Medicaid advisory committee to meet August 29 in Bismarck

 

North Dakota's Department of Human Services  (DHS) Medicaid Medical Advisory Committee will meet next Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Pioneer Room, located in the Judicial Wing of the state Capitol in Bismarck.

The committee's purpose is to hear reports and to advise DHS about the operation of the Medicaid program, which is the state and federal funded health program, serving qualifying pregnament women, children, people with disabilities and others. 

The meeting includes review of the proposed amendments to the Medicaid Autism Spectrum Disorder waiver, the Home and Community Based Services Medicaid waiver and the Traditional Intellectual Disabilities and Developmental Disabilities Home and Community-Based Services waiver.

Staff from the department will also share the proposed administrative rule changes, amendments to the Medicaid state plan and the waiver renewal for Medicaid's Expansion program.

Updates for the plans for a Medicaid 1915(i) state plan amendment for Community-Based Behavioral Health Services will be provided.
