Fargo Library to host event highlighting Ukraine’s history, culture

The Fargo Public Library, in partnership with the Cultural Diversity Resources Center, will host “The Colors and Culture of Ukraine,” a presentation by Svetlana Grindeland highlighting Ukraine’s history and culture at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at the downtown Main Library.

Grindeland immigrated to the United States from Ukraine in 1997. She will discuss the history, culture, political system, geography and religion to help people better understand Ukraine and its people. All ages are welcome and light snacks will be served.
