It’s a new initiative – and it’s walking towards success.
Mayville State University has started a new initiative this summer called ‘Walk On Wednesday.’
According to Rick Karboviak, Admissions Recruiter at Mayville State University, the idea came about after Governor Burgum had a Walk at Work earlier this summer.
Karboviak says the initiative is an effort led by both Human Resources and MSU Staff Senate to get people to move around.
Two routes are available—a half-mile route, and a full-mile route.
The college’s Staff Senate also encourages colleagues to ride their bikes to work and also take a spin around campus on their break times, too as one more method of activity to do.
Karboviak says the initiative has been fairly successful to this point.
