Significant winter impacts possible

The National Weather Service says a strong weather system will affect the Northern Plains for the second half of the work week.

According to the Weather Service, the system will bring several days in a row of wet weather, the potential for heavy snow and, by Thursday, much colder air and accumulating snowfall for much of the region.

As of late Monday night, details are very uncertain, including the exact timing of the rain and snow transition, along with the precipitation amounts and locations.

Tune into Scott Hennen's What's On Your Mind radio show tomorrow morning at 8:45 a.m., as we visit with Greg Gust of the National Weather Service. Greg will get listeners caught up to date on all of the latest weather details.
