No travel advised in northeastern North Dakota

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) along with the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) have issued a No Travel Advisory in the northeast region of North Dakota due to heavy snow and high winds causing near zero visibility, icy roads, and hazardous driving conditions.

The No Travel Advisory includes the cities of Grand Forks, Drayton, Grafton, Pembina, Cooperstown and surrounding areas.

A No Travel Advisory means motorists should not travel due to hazardous conditions which may make it unsafe to travel. Motorists should take No Travel Advisories seriously.

As a reminder, a Travel Alert remains in place for Jamestown, Valley City, Ellendale, Towner, Devils Lake, Carrington, and surrounding areas.
