UPDATE: On October 12, 2019 at 1243 p.m., Officers were dispatched for a possible kidnapping that had just occurred in the City of Fargo. A preliminary investigation done by officers on scene led them to believe there was a great likelihood that the female believed to be kidnapped was in danger.
Regional notifications were made to regional law enforcement and the female along with the suspected male were located in Rural Barnes County, North Dakota. Both are safe.
The investigation will be ongoing.
ORIGINAL: Today, at 12:43 p.m. the Fargo Police Department was notified of a possible kidnapping.
Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating Kristin Dawn Hettervig, 33 years old, who is 5'2", approximately 130 pounds with blonde hair. Kristen notified her brother that she was kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend, Matthew Thomas Roy Hanson, 41 years old.
They may be traveling in a white GMC pick up truck with possible ND 535 AZX plates.
Their last known location was Barnes Co. No further information is available at this time.If you see them, please contact law enforcement.
