Each summer United Way coordinates an annual School Supply Drive in Fargo to equip thousands of local K-12 students with the backpacks and supplies they need to succeed in school. Last year, 5,800 local students were equipped with a backpack and set of school supplies.
Again this year, the FargoDome is taking the part by hosting the event. FargoDome General Manager Rob Sobolik says it’s been a successful event in the past.
Sobolik tells WZFG that the distributions are scheduled this Saturday from 8 a.m. until 11:30am, and next Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, August 4 from 8:00-11:30am.
