North High School will hold a grand opening celebration for the school’s new artificial turf field at 4:30 p.m. on Friday at the North High School football stadium. A dedication will occur prior to the Spartans’ football game against Grand Forks Red River.
Community members are invited bring a football or a soccer ball to test the turf during the Community Open House. The North High School Booster Club is grilling burgers prior to the Grand Opening Celebration Ceremony.
Schedule of Events
- 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.: Community Open House
- 5:30 p.m.: Fargo North Booster Club Tailgate
- 6:35 p.m.: Grand Opening Celebration Ceremony
- 7:00 p.m.: Game kickoff, Fargo North vs. Grand Forks Red River
The artificial turf field was funded by generous community donations.
