National Theater for Children to perform at Ben Franklin Middle School

On Friday, the National Theater for Children will perform Dimes, Dollars, and Decisions, a presentation on financial literacy, for sixth graders at Ben Franklin Middle School.

Through a series of comedic and educational sketches featuring improvisation, audience volunteers and wacky, random dialogue, the students will learn about money and how it is used, while laughing and joining in the fun. Students will play America’s newest game show “Undue Risk,” where insurance is the topic of the day. Students will see what happens when an audience member is given $100 to go on a (purely imaginary) spending spree.

Since 1978, The National Theatre for Children has delivered free programs into schools across the country in order to teach, entertain and inspire future generations to make our world an even better place. To learn more about the company, www.nationaltheater.com.
