Crews Move into Final Phase of 25th Street South Concrete Pavement Repair Project Monday

Next week contractors for the 25th Street South concrete pavement repair (CPR) project will reopen the west side of 25th Street S from 8th Avenue South to just south of 5th Avenue South and switch traffic to the southbound lanes to begin the final phase of project work.

Beginning Monday, August 6, early in the morning crews will begin phase five of project work on the east side of 25th Street S between 8th Avenue South to just north of 5th Avenue South. Motorists will be carried side-by-side through the three-block stretch and access to businesses will be maintained in the work zone area.

Crews will be reconstructing the 5th Avenue South and 25th Street S east side intersection during this phase. Work is expected to take two weeks to complete the improvements at this intersection. Work on 25th Street S will require east side intersection closures of the remaining avenues south until 8th Avenue South.
