Search for missing Walsh County man ends

The search for a missing Walsh County man has come to an end.

That’s the word from the Walsh County Sheriff’s Office in Grafton. They had been searching for Michael Eidenschink since early this morning, according to a post from the Sheriff’s Office.

Eidenschink left his house in Park River at around noon on Sunday, November 24, in a gray 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche. Authorities say he was believed to be hunting or fishing in the Fordville area but had not returned.

Late Monday afternoon, the sheriff’s office says, in a Facebook post, that Eidenschink had been located.

“It was not the outcome we had hoped for,” the post from the sheriff’s office said.

WZFG News reached out to Walsh County Sheriff Ron Jurgens, who offered no further comment on the situation.
