On Saturday, officers were called to Rydell Chevrolet in regards to a man threatening an employee.
Upon the first officer’s arrival the suspect fled on foot in a northerly direction. After searching for the suspect for about 30 minutes an officer located him in an apartment building nearby.
The man, Paris Shannon, age 31 of Grand Forks, was taken in to custody and brought to the Grand Forks County Correctional Center. Shannon is charged with Terrorizing a class C Felony and Refusal to Halt,a class B Misdemeanor.
A knife was recovered from Shannon. The victim said a knife was displayed at the time of the incident.
The investigation is continuing.
