Fargo Public Works issues snow plowing information for overnight winter storm

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning from 9 p.m. Sunday evening through 9 a.m. Monday morning for the Fargo area. Based on the forecast, Fargo Public Works is expecting the heaviest snow accumulations will occur during the overnight hours. Due to the timing of this event, operational crews will be focusing on snow emergency route plowing throughout the overnight hours.

Residential street plowing may not begin until mid-Monday morning. It is anticipated that the Monday morning commute could be impacted by this event, depending on snow accumulation and wind impacts. For safety reasons, please give snow removal equipment as much room as possible and be patient as crews work diligently to clear the roadways.
