The 13th annual Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day took place Aug. 2 nationwide, but Perham Dairy Queen will celebrate a belated Miracle Treat Day on Aug. 10. Located at 802 Third Ave. S.E., the location was unable to participate in Miracle Treat Day due to an accidental crash into the building that shut it down for days.
Miracle Treat Day benefits local sick and injured children. It is an opportunity to savor a sweet treat to support Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo—North Dakota and northwest Minnesota’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
