At 8:40 p.m. on December 26, 2019, Fargo Police responded to a car that had just been stolen at a local gas station. The victim left the car running to make a quick purchase and when she went back to the parking lot found it gone. An officer happened to be in the area on patrol and located the vehicle and the thief within minutes.
Arrested for Possession of Stolen Auto and DUI was
Michael Merlyn Mead JR, age 36, of Fargo.
