Cass County Sheriff's Office issues travel warning

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is strongly urging drivers to stay off the rural highways.  Conditions have become extremely difficult to near impossible to travel due to snow covered roadways and very poor visibility in open areas.  County road plows will not begin snow removal until conditions improve.  Cass County authorities will have resources staged throughout the county and will be responding to those who find themselves in a dangerous situation or in need of medical care, but are asking for the publics cooperation to adhering to the no travel advised for the safety of all involved.
