Highway Patrol, DOT attempting rescues along I-29

Captain Bryan Niewind, Southeast Regional Commander of the North Dakota Highway Patrol, says members of the Highway Patrol and the North Dakota Department of Transportation are currently along I-29, attempting to rescue motorists stranded along I-29.

The interstates across North Dakota are closed, and secondary roads on the eastern part of the state are impassable, Niewind says.
