Hoeven Talks with Patterson Lake Homeowners

In a meeting with Patterson Lake homeowners and area officials Friday in Dickinson, Senator John Hoeven outlined his provision to enable homeowners to purchase their lots. Hoeven included the Patterson Lake provision in a package of bills to be added to the Senate’s Water Resources Development Act (WRDA), which he expects the Senate will pass by Labor Day.

Hoeven’s legislation transfers 41 cabin lots at Patterson Lake, as well as additional recreation and wildlife management lands, to the Dickinson Parks and Recreation Department. Homeowners could then purchase their lots from the department.
