NDDOT receives funding for Highway Innovation

U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) awarded the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) $241,687 to support Accelerated Innovation Deployment (AID) Demonstration under the Federal Highway Administration.

Accelerated Innovation Deployment (AID) Demonstration through the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) provides funding as an incentive for eligible entities to accelerate the implementation and adoption of innovation in highway transportation. The AID Demonstration program is one initiative under the multi-faceted Technology and Innovation Deployment Program (TIDP) approach providing funding and other resources to offset the risk of trying an innovation. Specifically, this grant will provide the North Dakota Department of Transportation funding for their Autonomous Attenuator Project.
