Voters to Decide on Non-Citizen Voting

A voting measure to allow only US citizens to vote in elections in North Dakota will appear on the November 2018 ballot. Led by Former Republican Party Chairman Gary Emineth, a group submitted more than 35,000 signatures to the Secretary of State’s Office. When voters head to the polls in November, they will decide whether or not to amend the North Dakota Constitution to stop non-US citizens from voting.
