Recount Set for Secretary Of State

The recount, ordered by the Supreme Court for Roland Riemers, candidate for Secretary of State for the Libertarian Party, has been set to be held on the days of August 24, 27, 28, and 29.   The dates were chosen to accommodate Mr. Riemer’s schedule and to provide counties the flexibility in scheduling their recount election boards.  After the county recount process is complete, the State Canvassing Board will reconvene to certify the statewide result of the recount that was conducted in the state’s 53 counties.
