Fargo Police seize cash, drugs during search

In February 2020, the Fargo Police Narcotics Bureau received information regarding individuals selling marijuana and MDMA from an address (1800 Block 39th Street South) in south Fargo. Detective Bret Witte and his Fargo Police K9 Kilo went to the address and conducted a K9 deployment on a row of garages. Kilo indicated the presence of a trained narcotic odor coming from one of the garages and a search warrant was obtained. Additional information was developed over several days leading to a search warrant being obtained. A search of the garage led to the discovery of approximately 34 pounds of marijuana. A search of the apartment led to the seizure of :

1) $2,840 US currency
2) 667 grams of marijuana
3) 90.8 grams of MDMA
4) 10.9 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms
5) Multiple items of drug paraphernalia

Kaylee Michelle Helgeson, 24 years old, was arrested for Possession of a Hallucinogenic with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia x 2
