On Monday, August 20, second grader Mia Heinrich will set up a lemonade stand outside Hawthorne Elementary School to sell fresh-squeezed lemonade and homemade cookies, with all proceeds being donated to the school.

After Mia created a successful summer lemonade stand with her brother, she decided her entrepreneurial skills could benefit her school. Mia will sell lemonade and homemade treats to parents as they wait for their children to complete student assessments. All proceeds made at the booth will be donated to Hawthorne Elementary to use to assist families in need.
