Single Vehicle Crash Kills Bismarck Man

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a single vehicle crash has taken the life of a Bismarck man.

The crash, which happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 1804, west of Linton, involved a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The Patrol says a 2002 Harley Davidson was traveling northbound on State Highway 1804 near mile marker 27, when the driver lost control and entered the south ditch, striking an approach.

When the motorcycle struck the approach, it launched and rolled, during which time the driver was ejected from the bike.

The driver was transported to the Linton Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

On Saturday, the Highway Patrol identified the man as 65-year-old Mark Henninger of Bismarck.
