Coronavirus affects local, regional and national events

Coronavirus has hit the region hard—here is a list of events that have been affected by it locally, regionally and nationally:

• All winter and spring NCAA championships, including March Madness and the Frozen Four, have been canceled.
• NDHSAA State Class A Basketball Tournament – Friday’s semifinals and Saturday’s third place and championship games will be played with limited attendance. In addition, each game Friday and Saturday will be one session, with the arenas being cleared and cleaned at the end of each game.
• Fargo’s Film Festival has been canceled.
• Cher’s concert at the Fargodome has been canceled.
• West Acres’ scheduled events have been canceled.
• The Red River Winter Market has been canceled.
• North Dakota’s Democratic-NPL state convention has been canceled; the Republican Convention is still on as of Thursday evening.
• All Honor Flights, including the North Dakota-Minnesota flight, are suspended.
