West Acres Shopping Center’s CEO, Brad Schlossman, says the shopping center, home to more than 100 businesses, will remain open, but will undergo operation changes amid the concerns over Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In addition, the shopping center will be taking additional safety measures, which include changes to their cleaning procedures and cancelling events through the remainder of March. Stores are also being given the power to adjust operations, including being open or closed, Schlossman said.

West Acres’ Playland is closed until further notice, and the Center Court Books is suspended until further notice.

Two stores will be closing at 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday—Justice and Loft.
