Fargodome events cancelled, postponed amid COVID-19 concerns

The Fargodome has announced that multiple events have either been cancelled or postponed, due to concerns over the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The following events are affected:

  • Cher’s “Here We Go Again” Tour: Originally scheduled for April 11 at the Fargodome, Cher’s Here We Go Again Tour date has been rescheduled for September 26 at the Fargodome. Currently held tickets will be honored for the new date, and no action is needed if fans want to keep their tickets and current seat locations, the Dome says.  Refunds can be received at the point of purchase.
  • PRCA Championship Rodeo: Originally scheduled for March 20 and 21, the PRCA’s Championship Rodeo event at the Fargodome has been cancelled. “We took in every consideration given to us and ultimately decided it was in the best interest to all involved that we ensure the safety of our staff, contestants and fans first,” a post on the Fargodome website said. Credit card purchases will be automatically refunded, and those who bought tickets in person can go to the Fargodome, beginning March 17.
  • 2020 El Zagal Shrine Circus: The 2020 El Zagal Shrine Circus, scheduled for March 27-29, has been rescheduled. The new dates are May 1-3 at the Fargodome. Currently held tickets will be honored for the new date, and no action is needed if fans want to keep their tickets and current seat locations. Tickets purchased for March 27th will be good for May 1st, March 28th good for May 2nd and March 29th good for May 3rd.  Refunds can be received at the point of purchase. “We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves and remain vigilant in our actions to help ensure minimum exposure risk to the public health of Fargo, Moorhead, and surrounding communities,” a notice on the Fargodome website said.
  • MercyMe concert: MercyMe announced on Friday that they “will be postponing all the remaining dates for our spring tour.” No date has been set as of Saturday afternoon for a rescheduling of their concert at the Fargodome.
