Fargo Begins Move into New City Hall Facility: Community Development Offices Temporarily Relocated

Beginning on today, August 27, City staff members will begin a three-week process of moving materials and technology equipment into the new City Hall facility in downtown Fargo. Throughout this timeframe, City frontline staff members will continue serving members of the public at the current City Hall at 200 Third Street North.  The new facility (located at 225 Fourth Street North) will open to members of the public on Monday, September 17.

As part of the move, the City Assessor’s Office will be temporarily relocated to the main floor of the current City Hall beginning on Monday, August 27 and continuing through September 14.  The Community Development Division will also be temporarily relocated to the current City Hall beginning on Thursday, August 30 and continuing through September 14.  All other City Hall departments will remain in the current City Hall through September 14 in their present locations.

The City of Fargo is committed to maintaining excellent customer service and responsiveness during this move. However, transactions and interactions with City staff members may take longer than normal due to the moving process. If possible, residents are asked to consider calling or emailing departments (via the City’s website) if possible to facilitate faster response times.
