City of Fargo Wastewater Department reminds residents to drain sump pumps outside

City of Fargo residents are reminded to ensure their sump pumps are discharging into outside storm drains (rather than sanitary sewer drains) for the spring season. Doing so reduces the risk of sewer backups during periods of heavy rainfall and melting.
