U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded a combined $2,943,740 to four health centers in North Dakota for Coronavirus (COVID—19) response and recovery. Below is the list of federal funding apportioned through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act:
- Family Healthcare Center in Fargo - $960,350
- Coal Country Community Health Center in Beulah - $695,270
- Northland Health Partners Community in Turtle Lake - $650,630
- Spectra Health in Grand Forks - $637,490
These investments were awarded through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) under HHS to respond to COVID-19. The total available amount for each recipient is based on funding appropriated under the CARES Act, a bill crafted in the Senate which Senator Cramer helped pass.
