Lactation Suite Sponsored by Plains Chiropractic and Acupuncture

Spectra Venue Management, the providers of Venue Management, Food Services and Hospitality, and Partnerships to Alerus Center, is proud to announce the Lactation Suite sponsored by Plains Chiropractic and Acupuncture that will be available for most events held at Alerus Center when space is available. The lactation suite will be located in Meeting Room 11 (Canary Room).

The Lactation Suite sponsored by Plains Chiropractic and Acupuncture provides a private, welcoming environment to mothers and is a comfortable place to nurse, express breastmilk and care for their babies. 

“We’re thrilled to support mothers in our community,” said Dr. Natalie Muth, of Plains Chiropractic & Acupuncture. “We believe that all mamas deserve a comfortable place to use a breast pump or breastfeed distraction-free - anytime, anywhere.” The lactation suite is furnished with private nursing pods, electrical outlets, changing stations, and coloring books for young children. With that being said, mothers are still welcomed to breastfeed in any location patrons are normally permitted within Alerus Center. 

Alerus Center also features changing tables in all restrooms in the facility to accommodate all of our guests. Additionally, there are several private family restrooms throughout the facility available for use.

“We are very excited about the new Lactation Suite sponsored by Plains Chiropractic and Acupuncture,” said Spectra’s Anna Rosburg, General Manager of Alerus Center. “We want to enhance the family experience here at Alerus Center and I know that breastfeeding, pumping, or caring for small children in a large facility, especially during an event, can be a challenge. We want to do everything we can to support families and hope that mothers will enjoy this new amenity that provides them a quiet, calm place to do so.”
