Walmart Robbery in Grand Forks

The Grand Forks Police were dispatched to Walmart for a Robbery in progress. Upon officer’s arrival, the suspect had fled in a maroon colored vehicle. The suspect vehicle drove out of the exit and sideswiped another vehicle. The suspect vehicle continued north on South Columbia Rd. for an unknown duration of time.

The Grand Forks Police checked the area for the suspect and the vehicle without locating either of them. The officers then checked other locations and the suspect vehicle was found in the 500 block of No. 48th St. in a parking lot.

The Grand Forks Police officers were able to find an apartment where the suspect was located. The suspect was identified as Gabriel Longtail, age 36 of Fort Totten, ND. The apartment was searched and items were recovered.

Gabriel Longtail was arrested for the Robbery, a warrant and leaving the scene of a crash.
