Grand Forks nursing home reports multiple cases of COVID-19

Valley Senior Living, which has six communities on three campuses throughout the city of Grand Forks, continues to report cases of COVID-19 in its facilities.

As of late Tuesday night, seven employees and two residents have tested positive for COVID-19. Of the nine cases, eight have happened in two facilities. At Valley Senior Living on Columbia, four staff have contracted COVID-19. At Valley Senior Living on 42nd, known as Woodside Village, two staff and two residents have tested positive. The other case, at Tufte Manor, a basic care facility located on Cherry Street, was a positive test in a staff member.

All employees of Valley Senior Living were tested on Sunday, April 26; while residents were tested on Monday, April 27.
