Grand Forks DDA to Host September 2018 Street Fair

The Grand Forks Downtown Development Association (DDA) welcomes back the third annual Downtown Street Fair on September 7th and 8th, 2018. Located in downtown Grand Forks, the event will be free to the public, and will feature artisans and vendors from across the Midwest.

Guests will stroll through the streets of downtown and be able to purchase one-of-a-kind items, and fill up on unique foods at the downtown food court, next to Town Square. Street Fair fun will continue into Friday night with a concert in Town Square featuring local acts, The Don Barstads and Stovepipes, as well as a concert Saturday night featuring Rhyme or Reason and Boomtown.

“We’re excited to bring the community together for our third annual Downtown Street Fair,” said Katie Rehder, Marketing & Event Coordinator of the DDA. “The Downtown Street Fair is a fun way for visitors and vendors to spend time with friends and family, as well as enjoy a wide variety of unique products, tasty foods, and great entertainment”.

With an anticipated increase in attendance from last year’s fair, vendors will have the opportunity to showcase their crafts and interact with a large number of visitors from throughout the region. In addition, the DDA will award cash prizes and trophies for the “Best of Show”.
