Ninth Street NE lane closures in place for water main work in West Fargo

Ninth Street NE will be closed, starting Monday, May 11, to Saturday, May 16, from Main Avenue to 7th Avenue to finish installation of new water main. Ninth Avenue NE and 11th Avenue NE closures have also begun and will continue to be closed for the next seven to 10 days.  To accommodate business access, either Ninth Avenue NE or 11th Avenue NE will remain open while work is being conducted. This closure is related to the Water Improvement Projects #1312 and #1313.

Detour routes include Center Street and Ninth Street NW. A 13-foot, 6-inch height restriction exists for vehicles utilizing these detour routes. Oversized truck traffic should route to 45th Avenue.

Motorists in these areas may encounter congestion and delays during the morning and evening commutes and should adjust their travel plans accordingly. Always use the ‘S’ check when traveling in and around construction areas – check your speed, space and stress.
