It was a banner year for the Minnesota State Fair, with record numbers of crowds attending during the 12 day fair.
According to fair officials, 2,046,533 people attended the fair, which is a new attendance record. The previous record was 1,997,320 in 2017.
Five days set single-day attendance records this year, with September 1 setting the all-time single day attendance record at 270,426.
In 2017, the highest single day attendance record was 254,431.
