USACE, MN DNR to Host Meeting on Supplemental Environmental Assessment

 

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, in cooperation with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, invite the public to attend a Sept. 13, meeting to learn about and comment on the Corps’ draft Supplemental Environmental Assessment for the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota, Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project.

The meeting will take place at the Courtyard Marriott, 1080 28th Ave S., Moorhead. It will begin at 5:30 p.m. with an open house, and attendees will have an opportunity to engage Corps and Minnesota DNR staff on the content of the draft documents. A brief, formal presentation will follow the open house and verbal or written comments on the documents will be received. Sign language interpreters will be available.

This meeting will address proposed modifications to the project since the completion of the draft Supplemental Environmental Assessment dated September 2013.
