North Dakota Department of Health receives funds for cancer prevention

 

U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the North Dakota Department of Health (NDDOH) received $2,845,095 from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for the North Dakota Cancer Prevention and Control Program.

The use of these funds, awarded through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), will include efforts for early detection of breast and cervical cancer, as well as comprehensive cancer prevention.
