The public will be able to access the Cass County Park Board Meeting, the Group A Rotational Meeting and the Cass County Commission Meeting by visiting www.casscountynd.gov/meetings. The public will find information there on how to watch each meeting. Click the appropriate links provided and use Microsoft Teams to view the meetings live.
All three meetings will take place on Monday, May 18. The Park Board Meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m., the Group A Rotational Meeting will start at 2:00 p.m. and the Commission Meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m.
On March 30, 2020 Governor Doug Burgum issued Executive Order 2020-16 amending Open Meeting requirements for public bodies due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The order allows governing bodies to provide a call-in number or electronic link that gives real time or livestreaming public access to meetings rather than physical access to meeting locations. This is a response to public health needs and social distancing recommendations and will be in effect for the duration of the declared state of emergency.
