Detour Lifted On Highway 59

The detour to Becker County Road 17 on Highway 59 south of Detroit Lakes was removed Thursday, and that portion of the project is now open. The detour was part of a resurfacing project on Highway 59 from Willow Street in Detroit Lakes to just south of the Otter Tail County Line.

Motorists will continue to encounter daily lane closures on Highway 59 as crews complete work under traffic for all four stages of the project.
