Woman Arrested at Moorhead Buffalo Wild Wings

On Sunday, about 7:38 p.m., Moorhead Police officers were dispatched to Buffalo Wild Wings, located at 2201 2nd Ave. N, Moorhead, on a report of adult female inside the bar area making suicidal comments while armed with a handgun.

The suspect was also advising it was in the staff's best interest to evacuate the building.  The management attempted to evacuate all staff and customers prior to the officer’s arrival.

The first officer on scene learned the suspect was still inside bar, armed with a gun and was "cornering" staff.

Officers made entry and took the suspect into custody without incident.  A facsimile firearm was recovered.

The suspect taken into custody was identified  as Jennifer Joan Thomas, age 47, of Fargo.  She is being held at the Clay County Jail on charges of threats of violence, disorderly conduct, fourth degree assault of a police officer and possession of a facsimile firearm.

Moorhead Police say the investigation is still active, and additional charges are possible.
